Ingredients
1 cup green mango, shredded
¼ cup carrot, shredded
¼ cup shallots, thinly sliced
¼ cup dried shrimp, pound until fine and fluffy (garnish)
2 tbsp. roasted peanuts
10 red and green hot chilies, coarsely crushed
2 tbsp. fish sauce
2 tbsp. palm sugar
¼ cup water
1 tsp. shrimp paste (optional)
Preparations
In a small pot, place palm sugar and water in medium heat. Bring to boil until palm sugar dissolved, remove from heat and let’s cool.
In a mixing bowl (making dressing), mix chilies, palm sugar, shallots, and fish sauce together.
Mix the dressing with all ingredients.
Before serve, garnish the top with dried shrimp and roasted peanuts.
Tips
Fresh shrimp can be substituted for Dried shrimp or no need any kinds of shrimp can, too. It’s optional.
Apple can be substitutes for mango, julienne slice and soak in water with a few drops of lime to prevent turning brown.
